TNL Travels – Cayo Santa Maria, Cuba

If you follow us on Instagram, then you’ve definitely seen our Cuba pics. After spending the first part of the year talking about a TNL getaway, we finally got around to booking some time in Cayo Santa Maria, where we spent 6 days at Memories Paraiso Azul Beach Resort .

This was Chris’ first visit whereas Ash had been to Cuba a few times in previous years, so we can’t even begin to describe our levels of excitement. Who doesn’t love a nice, hot vacation? Just look at these tans! Chris was shades darker after just 1 day.

We had a WONDERFUL time and would definitely return. We could go on and on about the time we had – from staff to entertainment, the sights and of course THE BEACH – but we figured we’d just show you.

We should also mention that we visited in the “low season” (summertime) so the resort was not nearly as busy as it could have been. We loved that, it really highlighted the chilled time we had.

The Beach – just steps from the resort. We couldn’t get enough of it! That water was absolute heaven.

We booked a tour to visit Trinidad de Cuba and there also a couple stops before we got there. We love the feel of stepping into a time capsule when we look at the modes of transportation.
